Jade: What Social Media Is To Me…

To celebrate World Social Media Day (June 30th), here at Ibiza Creative Club we are all taking a moment to reflect on our own personal story and experiences with Social Media, the impact it has on us, the world and the future of human connection. Read Jade’s little story below:

“Throughout my life I have travelled and worked in many places, and social media has played a huge part of my experience. From travelling and meeting friends who are in the same area, to continuing to keep in touch with friends and family from all over the world. I’ve also been a recruitment consultant, using platforms such as LinkedIn to connect and network in countless ways.

Being able to stay connected with loved ones plays a huge part in my life. But also, using social media to find tips and tricks, and advice and any subject, there is always a platform, forum or feed that you can use.

Social media is a great way to broaden the mind and explore things you thought were unimaginable. Seeing these things on a daily basis encourages you to dream big and do more.

It’s a endless resource that can be used to get creative and keep up with the latest trends.

Going forward I think the world of social media will have a positive role to play for our environment. Spreading the word and showing the world what changes we can make collectively as a community, rather than as individuals.”
