Shannon: What Social Media Is To Me…

To celebrate World Social Media Day (June 30th), here at Ibiza Creative Club we are all taking a moment to reflect on our own personal story and experiences with Social Media, the impact it has on us, the world and the future of human connection. Read Shannon’s little story below:

“Social media plays a huge part in my life. It’s a way of connecting with people that we can’t physically be with, be it someone who lives down the road to someone who lives the other side of the world. It really plays an important part of keeping everyone in touch.

There is something about simply knowing I can speak or connect with someone in a matter of seconds that is so comforting!

I also think social media has had a huge impact on businesses. Before you would have to hope someone recommend your company or someone would hopefully walk past a poster of yours. Now, we can share photos, videos, websites, reviews, to anyone in the world, the list is endless.

The world is changing and evolving rapidly for the better and it’s all thanks to social media!”
